A coder’s steps revealed

So what happened…?
Well quite a lot and as usually I blew it on the inform your readers part.
Therefore I committed the biggest blogging mistake one can do, and that is to leave the people visiting your site in the dark, letting them guess what happened.

Now the outcome of this step in the wrong direction yielded the following:

1. Lost 90% of my readers. (Kudos to the people who visited a lifeless blog for 2 weeks)
2. Lost my reputation I had built up.

Which figging sucks. All right it wasn’t anything huge that I could brag about, but still you had built up something that now pretty much is gone and I’ll have to start all over again…GREAT!

3. I learnt a lesson for the future.

I should never have gotten lazy! As one day of not posting will help one not to post the day after as well.
It’s like with gym training, you skip one pass then two and all of a sudden you find yourself 2-x weeks with no training.
The same thing happened to me when it came to blogging, laziness won….

Lesson learned and I’m now focused more than ever before on getting this up and running.
So for you 10% still around this will never happened again, if an interrupt in posting is due to come I’ll inform you about that.
