After randomsly surfing around on the net, I found a post on john chow’s blog about a new tool where you can get a grade for your website.
From what I understand it compares your site against the other ones that have been submitet, not only that, there are other checks performed by the tool before it finally delivers a grade for your site. This is a good tool, as it alerts you of different errors or things that are not good from a SEO point of view.
And it’s for free which is another great thing.
Here’s what I got when trying it out, and I have to say I was quite suprised:
A website grade of 73 for krillz.com means that of the thousands of websites that have previously been submitted to the tool, our algorithm has calculated that this site scores higher than 73% of them in terms of its marketing effectiveness. The algorithm uses a proprietary blend of over a dozen different variables, including search engine data, website structure, approximate traffic, site performance, and others.
