Dell confirms the virtual computer

So I just read that Dell among with some partners dealing with the virtual environment Dell will be releasing a virtual computer.

Well I did read about some speculations about this some time ago and thought it would be cool, so you will be able to run multiple versions of windows and Linux on the same time.
However they said that the computer will not be released earlier than next year, but I assume that it will take some more time and we’ll see it sometime around the summer or fall next year.

So you’ll be able to run office applications on one system while surfing the net with the other, I assume to pump up the security, you’ll get viruses on one system not affecting the office applications and so on.

But it doesn’t state if the computer will have the support for Mac OS X which I think it should as Apple sells a lot of computers right now.

Dell is working togheter with EMC, VMware and the privately owned company SWsoft.
Well we’ll just have to wait and see how this evolves.
